The Rickards came about because we wanted to share our story with the world. We wanted to tell as many people as we could about the challenges that we have overcome together as a family in the hope of inspiring others who might be struggling to do the same.
Over time the site has built a very impressive audience that we have come to regard as our own global family. That’s why we have opened the site up to others who feel like they may be able to offer something to the thousands of people who arrive at The Rickards every day.
If you would like to contribute to my blog I want to offer a few pieces of advice and a couple of reasons why doing so could be the best thing you do today.
Work To Your Own Schedule
The first thing I want you to know is that we won’t place any pressure on you should you choose to submit a guest post to my blog. We know that you may need to fit your writing around your work, family and personal life, which is why we want to make the process as enjoyable as possible.
That’s why we don’t set deadlines on guest posts, unless we have created an arrangement with you to write specific posts for the site. This means you can work to your own schedule while still enjoying all of the benefits that being published on a site with the reputation of The Rickards has to offer.
Share What Makes You Special
So what should you talk about when you write and publish your post here? We have made a list of specific topics that we like to cover on The Rickards at the bottom of the page, but when it comes to the content of your post we have found that writing from your own experience will help you to engage our audience and ensure your post is seen by as many people as possible.
Sharing who you are and what you have experienced with others offers them insight into your achievements. It’s also exceptionally rewarding as it allows you to take pride in what you have accomplished in life, safe in the knowledge that your writing may inspire others to do something wonderful today.
We Want To Hear Your Stories
It’s not just our audience who wants to hear about you. We have shared so much of ourselves as a family because we want to encourage others to do the same.
If you write for my website you will be able to share stories that could inspire us too. Who knows, perhaps the subjects you cover will give us ideas for articles that we can write on the site, or your story may help us with issues that we are struggling with just like ours have helped the many people who come to the site every day.
Building Experience
You may have aspirations of starting your own blog at some point in the future. It’s definitely worth a shot as getting it right may mean that you can make a little extra money, just like we do with this site.
However, it isn’t easy. That’s why we want to offer you the opportunity to develop some much-needed experience before you launch your own project. If you write and publish your post here you will have the opportunity to learn more about what online audiences really want from the content they read, plus you will have access to us as your editing team to help you every step of the way.
Gain Exposure
Perhaps you already have a blog and are struggling to attract the audience you feel it deserves. Happily, we can help you with that too.
Every post that is placed on our blog is credited to the original author through a bio section. You can use this to talk more about yourself and, more importantly for blog and business owners, talk about whatever it is that you want our readers to discover. With over 15,000 unique visitors every month, our site offers you the perfect chance to gain exposure among a large and relevant audience.
